Here’s some cool news! A friend of mine in St. Louis pointed-out that we got some airplay today on local STL station KDHX 88.1. He sent me a link to their playlist, and it was kind of awesome to see the names of the other artists who were also played that hour.
The station played “Landlocked State” at 11:36am, but the hour was also filled with music by Mike Doughty (the ex-frontman from Soul Coughing), Shellac (a longtime Steve Albini project), Billy Bragg, a project involving members of Swans and Deerhoof, Son Volt — and, well, some more… Continue reading

Hey, it’s Ryan! Just finished a demo of a new tune, and I wanted to share it. It’s not a “Dachshund” tune yet — this is a solo demo. But it’s easy to imagine that the band might end up performing it. Anyway, here’s some new music which represents a direction the band might lean further into. Enjoy!
Been lining up a few shows for the fall:
Thurs 10/13 – We’ll be playing Springfield, MO, for the first time, at the esteemed and storied Lindberg’s Tavern. (Storied, as in, the building is more than a single story. Esteemed, as in, it’s full of steam.) Fellow prog-punkers, The Archimedian Point, will join us.
Sat 10/15 – We’ll play St. Louis, also for the first time, at the well-reputed Heavy Anchor. (As opposed to ill-reputed, or a house of ill-repute.) Joining us will be Fight for Midnight, and Banks and Cathedrals.
