Eurekapalooza is an all-day outdoor music festival, featuring a variety of bands and musical styles, concessions, games, arts and crafts, and more.  It will be held in Lake Leatherwood City Park, just west of Eureka Springs along Highway 62 (map).

(Yeah, we know it’s a bit of a road-trip from Tulsa, but it would make for an awesome weekend excurison…)

Festival hours are 11 a.m. – 11p.m. Admission to EurekaPalooza is $15 for adults, $10 for students, and children 12 and under, free.  It’s a family-friendly event, held as a fundraiser for Clear Spring Schools.

This year’s musical line-up includes Handmade Moments, The Ariels, RockHouse, David Singleton Band, Mike Blackwell, Dachshund, The Rooguards, and Fossils of Ancient Robots; music genres include jazz, roots music, swinging country, modern folk, and lots of rock.

If you’re itching to burn some energy, sign up for one of the event’s Trail Races!  There’ll be a free one-mile fun run around the Lake Leatherwood track for kids 10 and under at 11:45 a.m. and noon races of ten miles and three and half miles along the trails of Lake Leatherwood Park.

Competitors receive a EurekaPalooza T-shirt and an all day pass to the festival. Prizes are offered for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in both the long and short races for each 10-year age group. Early entry fees, due before Sept. 17, are $20 for adults and $15 for anyone less than 18 years old. After that date, or for registration on the day of the event, the fee is $25 for adults; and $20 for youths.

Email karen@clearspringschool.org for an entry form, race details or to help sponsor the event. Camping is available through the Lake Leatherwood Park office 479-253-7921.
