Come celebrate the release of our 2nd album!
“Crooked House,” our follow-up to 2011’s “The Ballad of Shorty Long,” is almost here! It’s a longer and more ambitious album than our debut — full of surprising musical twists, evocative lyrics, and a fusion of progressive and new-wave sounds. To celebrate its release, we’re throwing a party at Tulsa’s Venue Shrine with our friend Pete Hess and local artist Juliana Noelle Lynn.
Pete, whom you might know as the guitarist from “The Danner Party,” will be opening the show with a new project based around his own solo material. Juliana is the artist who composed the handsome artwork for our new album, and she will be enhancing our performance with some projected visuals.
We’ll be playing the album, front to back, followed by a few brand-new tunes and a few old faves. We’ll have copies of the album (in CD format) for sale that evening. But if you like, you can purchase it early — starting March 10 — online, at CDBaby.com!
As you can tell from the poster below, the show will be on Friday, 4/1/2016. (It’s April Fools’ Day! We promise not to prank you!) Tickets are $5, and can be purchased at the door, or in advance at tulsashrine.com.
