Introducing the Endless Mixtape…

One or two of you might wonder what happened to the “Track of the Week” feature? The truth is, it proved to be too much work for a feature that didn’t seem to attract many listeners. But we still like the idea of posting recordings that would never see the light of day on an “album” release — (What to call them? Bonus tracks? B-sides?) — so I’ve replaced the “Track of the Week” feature with a new one, called “Endless Mixtape.”

The idea is basically the same, minus the “every week” angle. When we want to share a new live recording, demo, jam, or experiment, we’ll post it in the “Endless Mixtape” section, where you can listen to it and download it for free.

New tracks posted to the Mixtape will appear on the homepage, until newer items push them off. To view the entire current contents of the Mixtape (including older items), just click the “Endless Mixtape” icon in the left sidebar, or select it under “Music” at the top.

The new non-weekly format seems much more reasonable to me, given the fact that we have an audience of about fifteen people. (I’m kidding! It’s probably closer to sixteen.) Enjoy!
